Nearby you can see the remains of Pettineo’s medieval castle, the Franciscans monastery and other historic buildings. Pettineo is an important medieval village where you can admire the typical architecture of the time. Of particular interest are the ancient olive trees present in the property and those scattered throughout the surrounding area. They are the subject of cultural and tourist itineraries aimed at natural enhancement of the territory.
